Infrastructure Support Engineer
LUXOFT Company (IBS group of companies) opens Infrastructure Support Engineer
position in department, which projects are being developed for the only customer
Responsibilities:
 Working with the Deployment team to support the testing environments
 Supporting applications overnight batch
 Supporting application environments including monitoring intraday processes
 Raising outages, change requests, problem tickets
 Responding to service requests received
 Providing status communications
 Executing code deployments
 Document solutions to problems regarding standard IT applications
Requirements:
 Working understanding of UNIX/Solaris/Linux including shell/perl scripts
 Technical understanding of Oracle/SQL and scheduling software(not detailed)
 Knowledge of SQL language
 Capable of managing priorities and juggling numerous complex tasks
 ITIL Aligned service management (preferable).
Additional skills:
 Support of large application platforms including troubleshooting and issue tracking
 Change management
 Code release / deployment
 ITIL aligned service management experience
 Experience in working with global teams

 Strong analytical mindset
 Good communications skills
 Capable of taking tasks that are only roughly defined, yet involve complex interactions with other tasks and projects, and translating them into concrete initiatives
 Proactive in finding problems, defining and implementing solutions for them
