Position: COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER U129-CM
THE ROLE: • Duties are translation, interpretation between English and Russian/Ukrainian, English editing and training, including but not limited to the following: • Edit important written communications to make their origin transparent to educated native English speakers (Resumes; Important emails; Software design documents; Some legal documents etc.) • Assist company team in understanding written documents sent to them (Emails; Requirements, software design documents, etc.) • Attend meetings and conference calls with USA development teams and assist in interpreting when needed during and following up the meetings/calls • Assist company staff members in preparing presentations for conferences • Attend conferences where company staff is making presentations and assist in Q&A portions of sessions • Develop PR material for company including marketing materials for selling services within company entities • Ability to teach English classes to staff (in the morning, up to upper-intermediate level or higher) is a great advantage • The documents’ authors are to learn in a systematic and effective way from the corrections made by the CM. Studying the CM’s feedback is mandatory.
REQUIREMENTS: • A very proficient English speaker/writer • Have lived in the US for 2 or more years • Advanced training in English language if CM is Ukrainian/Russian • Advanced training in Ukrainian/Russian language if CM is American • Ability to pass some sample editing and speaking tests • Excellent communication, presentation, teaching, and teamwork skills • Diplomatic, communicative, teachable, result-oriented and positive • Power user of communication, presentation, and office software products • Ability to travel periodically to the US and Europe. If English skills improvement and/or cultural assimilation is required, ability to stay in the US (TX, IL, CA) for 3 months during the first-time visit
